I created this spec ad for myself. For the past 30 years, I've been impressed by how Patagonia runs its company. They run their company as I live my life, with intention. Task For their 50th Anniversary, Patagonia has been running ads asking, “What's Next? “Resilience,” “simplicity,” and “human-powered” have been some of their responses. I challenged myself to create another response that would fit their brand. Approach As I also turned 50 this year, a response I could envision for Patagonia and my own life was moving slower. For this magazine spec ad, I chose a photo of my wife and daughter paddling in the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness. |
